Bachmann 96275 Large Scale 2 Axle Motor Blocks fits Eggliner (fits older Aristocraft)

THIS BLOCK MEASURES 3-13/16 CENTER AXLE TO CENTER AXLE AND THE TOP OF THE BLOCK IS 1-11/16 ABOVE THE RAIL

This is a Bachmann Remake of the Aristocraft 29351 Motor Block.  The only difference is the plug and if you have very early versions with axle end pickups you need to fabricate a mount to attach to the sideframes and connect the wires from the sideframes to the ones coming from the wheels on the new ones.  You simply take an ohm meter to your wires on your old motor block and determine which 2 come from the right and left wheels and which 2 go to the motor and then splice your old orange plugs onto the corresponding wires coming out of the new Bachmann motor block and then it is a direct replacement.  doesnt take more than 5 minutes to convert the plugs over and 30 minutes to fabricate a mount on the sideframes. I've done this many times for customers locally to restore their older engines.
